The Linconshire Show

On the 19th June 2019 our whole school went to the Lincolnshire show, we were all in groups. I was with my four best friends, Ava, Edie, Jasmine and Sophie we were also with Mrs Wilson and Miss Williamson.

First we wondered round and spotted the first show of the day, the police dog show. They explained how the dogs help the police officer to catch the criminal. After that we walked on too see an owl tent, they showed us all the different types of birds they had brought with them to the show. We walked over to see some other tents containing things we could observe and buy.

After hours of walking we found one of my favourite things we did that day…

The Food! We were restricted to buying a couple of things, I realised I only had a few items in my pack lunch. So me, Edie and Ava all went to find some chips to share. A little while later we found some and all chipped in for the cost. The food at the show was very overpriced that was why we all payed for it.

My second favourite thing about the trip was the kids zone. It was not babyish like you would assume, It contained various fare rides such as a merry go round, helter-skelter, hook a duck, bumper cars and these big swings that you would pull to make you go higher and higher. Me and Edie went on the swings and so did Ava and Jasmine, the rest of the group went on the bumper cars.

I think I could safely say this was one of my favourite school trips of all time.

Lincolnshire show

Wednesday 19th of June 2019 we had the biggest school trip in history!!! We went to Lincolnshire County show. The trip there was two hours but I don’t mind, anyways I slept the whole way there. When we got there I was ๐Ÿ˜† so excited I could puke.

The first thing we looked at was the ๐Ÿ‘ sheep, But they weren’t that exciting as they were halfway through the judging. The next thing we looked at was the ๐Ÿฎ cows,This was a small tent but there was a wooden cow with fake udders that we all got to milk , The thing I didn’t like about this was that when you were squeezing them milk pulled out or onto your hand it was disgusting.๐Ÿคข๐Ÿคฎ

The next thing we looked at was the pigs, They were ace๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ The first prize pig for the biggest one was ginormous ๐Ÿท

After that we walked on and got bombarded with freebies from all sorts of places, then we decided to go to the fun zone, The fun zone was like a fun fair I went on the helter-skelter and another person in my group went on the merry-go-round๐ŸŽ

Then we had lunch it was really ๐Ÿ˜‹ tasty had a ham sandwich a jam sandwich some Haribo and ๐Ÿ• pepperoni and don’t forget the wotsits.

After lunch it was almost time to go ๐Ÿก Home but when we got to the clocktower we couldn’t resist going into the sports zone since I didn’t have enough money to go on the climbing wall, I went on the bouncy castle instead. t

Then it was time to go home my favourite part of Lincolnshire show was definitely helter-skelter it was the best bye for now guys!!๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿ˜œ๐Ÿคช

Yesterday, Wednesday 19 June 2019 Lincolnshire show!!!!!

We went to the Lincolnshire show. To start we went to look at the animals were nice to look at as well as stroke. The shops were alright though there was nothing in my interest so I did not buy anything. There was also some arty things to do like colour a road safety badge next to the dinosaur museum you could draw yourself as fireman. We started with the farm yard animals it was delightful to see all the animals they were noisy.

My favourite section was the military section I found that the most interesting out all of them I what the man told us. The military was the one we look at the most we saw some planes

There were many animals’ pigs, sheep, cow, goat, donkey, chickens and ducks to start with we went to the sheep, next we saw the donkey the donkey was sleeping in the hut so he did not come over to us, also next to the donkey was some ducks. Then we went to see what cave men would have used in the Stone Age we got to see axes, arrows, flint, steel, bags and clothing. Minutes later we went to see bees and the honey the he honey looked sooooooooo good that I wanted to eat it we also went to see the police bit where a lady told us about an old prison that is now a museum.

We also saw some classic cars and some new Lamborghinis they looked really cool and the classic cars had leather interior with them was some tractors where little kids where in the driver’s seat. We saw pony’s and had a snack then we saw the military bit (my favourite) the men there told us about the things they use and there where little fact files around telling you about the things they use.

The Lincolnshire Show 2019

On Wednesday 19th June 2019, we went to the Lincolnshire Show. It was about an hour and a half drive form school. It was 9:00 when we left school and we got there at 10:30.

The first thing we did was go to some farm animals there was sheep, goats, ducks and a donkey. Then we went to the RBST (Rare Breeds Survival Trust). Inside, there were rare goats, sheep and alpacas. Next we went to a Stone Age part. They showed us what people used in the Stone Age. (I thought it was cool) they had stuff made of stone and bone. Afterwards, we went to a beekeepers tent. They had different honey and bees there.

At that point it was 11:00. We were kind of hungry at this point. So we walked around the animals to take our minds off food. So we went down one of the paths off the clock tower. There was lots of food stalls so it didn’t help. Then we went to the sheep and pig tents where they were. Most of the pigs were huge. Then we stopped in front of the horse stadium. They were galloping around the showcase stadium. Then we set off the go see the classic cars.

We stopped at a couple of different stalls on the way there. We stopped at an army stall and looked at their machines. There was a couple of military trucks there. Then we looked around and found the classic cars. So we walked around then found some Lamborghinis so we looked at them inside and out.  We also stumbled upon some Ferraris and porches. Then after we found some Tanks.

Then some of our group needed the toilet. So we waited for them. After we had a flapjack biscuit. We walked over to the RAF stall, then we talked to the man in charge and he told us about what their uniform does. It was quite interesting. Then one of the Sergeants showed us a magic trick.

After that, we went to a shopping part of the Lincolnshire show. We didn’t buy anything there.

Afterwards, we went to a police tent where they showed us their drones. One drone takes 2160p photos and the other one records videos at 2160p. There was an old Victorian prison they made into a museum.

After that, we looked through the Air Ambulance and Fire Fighters stalls.

After, we got chipssmiley. Then we went to the Waggy Tails Shop. Where I got something for my dog, Flo. Then we just watched the police dogs. Then we left.

This is the end of the blog, bye.

Lincolnshire Show 2019 :)

Yesterday on the 19th of June we went to Lincolnshire show for a school trip. I was in Mr. Pollard’s group with my friends Harry Burton and Elliot Barlow. In the morning I got out of bed and got ready for school and got all my kit to suit the day ahead.

So I arrived at school had a slice of toast and waited in the hall and waited for everybody to arrive. But then when everybody had arrived we got into are groups and headed to the bus to start this 1 hour and 45 minute journey.

On the bus I was sat next to a friend and we played a few games together. The journey was long and after that we finally arrived at this prehistoric place. As we went through the gates and we already saw a load of people. But firstly we went and looked at the timetable board and it looked like it was going to be a very busy show.

After that we went our first stall and it was a wild woodcraft area were we were taught how to survive in the wild and create precious resources. But then we moved on to this beekeeping stall and saw people in with the bees. After that we moved on to the sheep showing ring and some of the sheep were going mental.

But then we into the tent which had the sheep that have been showed or not. Then we moved onto the pigs and some of them need to go on a diet because they are massive they are bigger than miniature Shetlands. Then we went to go and see the horses and they were doing a competition and there were mainly cobs there but there was a lippzana.

After that we went to the agricultural machinery and some of the tractors we absolutely massive and we went to a John Deere combine and this lady from the news came and filmed us and we were on TV and we were superstars and took up all of the spotlight. We were at the start of the film and the end film. And I was well proud that they picked me.

After that we went to nationwide and painted our own piggy banks to take home with us. My piggybank was painted blue all over. After that we went and had dinner and whilst we were having dinner we watched the stunt biking and they were doing some crazy stunts.

Then we went and carried on walking and we next went to the kid’s zone and some people got an ice cream with their own money and they were expensive. After that we went to the exhibition hall and my sister was there so I tried to avoid her and I did. Whilst we were in the exhibition hall we had a little play on the straw bales. But then we saw super spud which was a man dressed in a costume and next to him was the Lincoln city imp mascot.

After that we went to the sports zone and look at all the cool sports stuff available there. But sadly we couldn’t go on anything they were taken up by other people that had come to the show. After that we went to the countryside ring and next to it was theses giant Galapagos tortoises and they were big they were about the size of a Falabella.

Then we went and saw the owls, eagles and vultures. The person that was holding the stall allowed us to touch one of their smaller residents which was a Barn owl. This Barn owl was called Lily and she was so adorable and so fluffy it was like a small white and brown bit of fluff. And whilst she was going round I spotted a vulture and it looked quite menacing as it turned and looked at you.

But then we looked at the time and it was almost time to go but we hadn’t picked up our piggybanks so we made a quick dash back to nationwide. On the way we had to push past a load of people and finally we got there. Then once we had them we had to run back to the watchtower which was quite a long way away. We had to push past the people again and then we arrived at our destination a little bit late.

But we weren’t last to get back so we played with our toys and had a whale of a time. Then when the final group arrived back we headed for the bus and got back with our partners and get set for the long journey ahead. On the bus on the way back me and my partner were playing numerous games. Then when we arrived back at school I thought what a day it has been.
